A lot of our content, including Insights and templates for fund-raise preparation, are available for free on the platform. We have subscription plans for storing and sharing content, as well as for managing 1:1 investor conversations. Please refer to Settings > Plans – for more details.

We use the various data points provided by the investors - such as their focus area (region, sector), investment ticket size and stage – to match with the details shared by businesses seeking funding, to share relevant investor recommendations.

The privacy of your data and the security of the platform, are our top priority. We host your data on a secure cloud network, and ensure encryption for all sensitive / financial information. We refrain from sharing your data to any third party. For further details, please refer to our privacy policy.

Prepare

Draavi offers education content that is sector and growth-stage specific, which enables start-up founders to learn more about the process of fund raise. We also provide business specific templates of documents needed during the process of a fund-raise, so that startups can start preparing for outreach.

In addition to our educational content on ‘how to raise capital’, we provide sector and growth-stage specific templates for documents such as pitch decks, financial models. We also provide templates for legal documents right from basic Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDAs) to term sheets and Share Holder Agreements (SHAs). Please refer to our Prepare section for more details.

Yes, you can. Most of our content is free to access and read, and you can go ahead and download the files that you wish to use. Some of our content is read only, and some of the content is only available to businesses using our subscription plans.

Yes, you can. You can upload files that you have prepared to the Virtual Data Room section, and give access to investors that you may be speaking with. The Virtual Data Room and the file storage and share feature, is only available to businesses using our subscription plans.

The templates and documents shared by Draavi, are prepared by professional lawyers with utmost care and due diligence. However, the documents are neither offered as legal advice, and nor should be considered so. The platform will not be privy to the nuances of your 1:1 conversation with different investors. Hence, we would strongly recommend having a professional lawyer/law firm, to offer you advise on the different agreements.

Discovering Investors

As a platform, our effort is to allow start-ups to discover all kind of investors from accelerators and angel investors, to private equity investors as well as family offices. We are also consciously working on onboard impact and not-for-profit investors. To expand the pool of investors, we are also adding venture debt providers and alternative asset lenders.

Please head over the Discovering Investors section, and go the Find New page, and proceed to Watchlist or Like investors.

Please head over the Discovering Investors section, and go the Find New page, and you can sort investors by their sector or regional focus, as well as their stage of investment and average ticket size. This will help you find an investor that matches your business needs.

Just hit the like on an Investor that you find relevant, and when an investor likes you back, you have a Match. They will show up in your connections, and you can start chatting to them.

In case there are Investors that are of interest, but you don’t yet want to start a conversation with them just as yet, you can add these Investors to your Watchlist.

Raising Capital

Once you have Matched with an investor, you can start talking about fund raising. You can use the ‘Virtual Data Room’ feature to share files, and the Raising Capital section to track all on-going conversations.

Please visit the ‘Raising Capital’ section. You can use the Add New Deal / Add New Log feature to add details for every transaction with the investor, by each stage of the conversation.

If for any reason, an ongoing conversation with a particular investor has been paused or closed, you can visit that particular conversation’s details and use the ‘Put on Hold’ feature. This conversation is then moved to different page – On Hold – under the Raising Capital section.

Yes, when you put a conversation on hold, you can choose to set yourself a reminder for a time, at which point you may wish to revisit the conversation with that particular investor.

Yes, you can. The tabular summary on the On-Going page helps give you an overview of all the ongoing investor conversations. The table has the most updated values, from the last recorded conversation on that thread.

Data Security and Privacy

No, we do not. Draavi does not share data saved by businesses with third parties. The data is only visible to investors, as per permissions shared by the businesses.

We store your data on a secure cloud network, and all sensitive financial data is encrypted. Once your information is in our possession we adhere to strict security guidelines, protecting it against unauthorized access. For further details, please refer to the Privacy policy section.
